Create a plan

Without a plan, it’s very difficult to reach your graduation goals. Think of it like going on a trip without a map. Traveling without a map usually means you will get lost. Spending four years in high school without a plan can be a costly waste of time.

Taking classes and understanding a career path can lead to an increase in motivation toward completing coursework. It can also make courses more engaging.

Outside of the classroom, you can find opportunities to explore your career path and develop your skills, too. Getting involved and developing your employability skills can also help you figure out where you are going.
