Managing your account and information
You can explore the site without an account, but creating a free account allows you to do the following:
- Save favorite articles, careers, and education programs to your profile
- Save search filters when using the Career Explorer and Program Explorer
- Save and revisit your results from the Interests and Skills Quizzes
To create an account:
- Go to the account registration page.
- Click on Create an account.
- Fill out the form and choose a password.
- Verify your email address and log in.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a My Texas Future account.
To reset or change your password:
- Go to the password reset page.
- Enter your email address and select Get Code.
- Retrieve the code from your email and enter it on the page.
- Create your new password and select Reset Password.
To update your account information and preferences:
- Log in to your account and go to your Learner Profile.
- Select Edit on the section you’d like to update (e.g., About, Experience, Learning goals).
- Make your changes and select Save profile.
To delete your My Texas Future account:
- Log in to your account and go to your Learner Profile.
- At the bottom of the page, select Delete My Texas Future account.
- Choose a reason for deleting your account and select Delete account.
